A private orangery combines an expressive space with the task of growing plants. We design freestanding and attached structures, glass greenhouses and orangeries with a lounge area; plant requirements form the basis of the technical specification.
From a private orangery to a garden pavilion
Plant collection
We clarify the species, plant sizes, planting scheme and maintenance. The layout must account not only for the initial installation, but also for access to the plants.
Orangery with a lounge area
We separate the space for people from the space for plantings. We discuss in advance which climate requirements take priority and how to combine them within a single volume.
Architectural greenhouse
We work through the exterior appearance, structure, entrances and service passages. An individually designed object is not replaced with a universal off-the-shelf garden kit.
What to agree on before choosing the insulated glass unit
Light requirements
We define the plants' needs and select glass based on its documented characteristics. A mirrored facade is not specified for purely aesthetic reasons.
Climate and water
Heating, ventilation, humidification, irrigation and drainage require a separate specification. Their inclusion and scope of supply are stated explicitly in the contract.
Frame and roof
A steel or timber frame, the glazing system, roof slopes and opening elements are selected as part of the project — not on the basis of an external reference alone.
Cost and scope of the order
Initial data
We need the region, dimensions, installation site, the planned plant collection and the seasonality of use. Photos of the site help us discuss how the object will sit on the plot.
Estimate
We break down the foundation, frame, glass envelope, installation and climate systems. This makes it possible to compare proposals with identical scope, rather than only the bottom-line figures.
Turnkey works
A comprehensive contract is possible for an agreed scope. Planting stock, plant styling and ongoing care are not automatically considered included.

Some projects are subject to publication restrictions. The portfolio indicates the status and confidentiality terms; the materials shown are not always photographs of the original object.

Can I order a premium orangery to my own dimensions?
Yes, we consider custom dimensions and architecture. Whether a specific solution is feasible is confirmed by the project and the site conditions.
Is mirrored glass suitable for an orangery?
This cannot be decided on appearance alone. The choice is made taking into account the plants' light requirements and the characteristics of the specific glass.
Do you deliver the orangery ready-assembled?
The degree of factory readiness depends on the dimensions, structure and delivery logistics. For each order we determine which elements are fabricated at the workshop and which are assembled on site.
Buy an orangery or commission a custom project
Can I buy a turnkey orangery?
A turnkey orangery requires the construction part and the equipment to be coordinated for the chosen plants. Glazing, heating, ventilation, irrigation and shading must be listed in the proposal.
How do I order a glass orangery?
Tell us the area, location and the planned plant collection. A made-to-order orangery is designed around its light and temperature regime, not only around its exterior appearance.
Custom orangery: can the dimensions be changed?
We consider custom dimensions together with the load-bearing scheme, foundation, doors and roof maintenance. The cost is calculated based on the agreed project.
